Monty Don moves fans as he finally details his garden layout and the place where the dog Nigel is buried | Celebrity News | Show biz & TV
Gardeners’ World host Monty Don took to Instagram to share the plan of his beautiful garden, which is regularly seen on the popular BBC Two gardening show. The detailed drawing outlined the important features of the TV presenter’s two-acre estate, including the grave of his beloved dog Nigel, who died earlier this year.
The 65-year-old captioned his post: “I’ve been asked many times for a map of the garden – it’s pretty accurate and can be seen on a beautiful big screen on my website montydon.com.”
The numbered garden plan, which he shared with his 655,000 devotees, showed the location of items that often appear on the program, such as the cottage garden, the paradise garden, and the vegetable patch.
The number 15 in the illustration is listed as ‘Nigel’s grave’.
Noting that the image showed the dog’s final resting place, Instagram followers and fans alike took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Monty’s dog, Nigel, died in May, six days before his 12th birthday.
The gardener previously said the golden retriever had helped him in his battle with depression.
The father of three has two remaining dogs, Nell and Patti, who are seen regularly on his Instagram account and on Gardeners’ World.
The popular program will take a hiatus from television screens for the winter and return with more gardening tips early next year.
