Eamonn Holmes spent Sunday at home gardening and couldn’t resist showing off the hard-earned results on Instagram. The This morning the host proudly showed off his pristine lawn in a photo on Sunday afternoon, and fans were in awe of both the neat stripes he mowed in the grass and also the size of his garden.

I love the stripesâ¦ It’s the little things,â Eamonn wrote, adding: âIt’s just a nice day to take a step back and admire.” The TV presenter’s post drew hundreds of comments, most notably from Homes under the Hammer host Lucy Alexander, who wrote: “Omg thought it was a bocce club somewhere!” Amanda Lamb was also impressed, commenting, “The Lawn of Dreams. I’m not showing Sean. He would be so jealous.”

When asked for advice on how to keep grass so healthy and green, Eamonn wrote, “Water is the key,” adding, “Recycled water”. He also admitted that it had been “a summer of effort” to keep the lawn in such pristine condition.
Eamonn said he was “very proud” to care for his garden
Eamonn is an avid gardener and has previously said he takes “great pride” in keeping the outdoor space perfectly smooth, even though his wife Ruth sometimes laughs at him. The couple share a Â£ 3.25million Surrey mansion with their teenage son Jack, and often share photos of the lavish property, which has six bedrooms, two living rooms and a ‘man cave’, especially for Eamonn, which he filled with Manchester United memories.
